Japanese altar table for a private Shinto Shrine. Rectangular table with red lacquer finish and partial copper gilt on lotus flower. Retaining its original copper fittings. Waisted rectangular table raised on four cabriole legs, a carved panel of lotus rest across the front underneath table top and another stands on the rectangular base. Very worn and in its original unrestored condition. Edo Period circa 1800.
